Next week, Nazarene pastors, leaders, and students will gather in Kansas City, MO for the M19 Conference. Nazarene Compassionate Ministries will be represented in both the exhibit hall and on the workshop schedule.

Stop by our booth, located in the Global Mission area, and tell us how your church is living out the call to be compassionate, and how we can better support those efforts. We're also excited to share what God is doing in compassionate ministries around the world and how you can get involved. 

Then, take the conversation further by attending one of these workshop options focused on compassionate ministry and engaging compassionately with the world.

NCM M19 Sponsored Workshops

When disasters occur, how can our churches and districts be equipped to respond? This workshop will give practical ways the church can be prepared for disasters and assist those impacted. Special attention will be given to the church’s role in serving those who are most vulnerable to the effects of disasters.

How do you purposefully engage those around you with the hope of the gospel? What does it really mean to “love your neighbor” and how can you live this out in everyday life?

This workshop will focus on resourcing the local church to be the voice for those in need. Education and resourcing opportunities will be provided for the attendee to share compassionate ministries with their local church.

With the Bible as our guide, how do we base our compassion on the practices Christ taught us?

Come hear how one church has focused on taking back a city and reaching into all parts of that city with creative church plants.

An interactive forum for college students to engage NCM global program coordinators in conversation around the areas of clean water, disaster response, holistic child development, and community development. Also, an opportunity for college students to share with NCM staff how they are feeling called to engage in compassionate ministries, and to collaborate on how NCM can position itself best to support them and their calling into the future.
